High School Program

PHOENIX INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Where the education of a lifetime begins.

Introduction

There are about 92 students in the High School level, who are in classes ten through twelve and range in age from fifteen to seventeen.

Curriculum

At the secondary school level, the pursuit of academic and personal success is continued through a three-year cycle that includes four separate programs:

The Lebanese Baccalaureate. All disciplines, with the exception of social studies and Arabic language, are taught in English. Students are promoted into either the Economics and Sociology track or the scientific track in the third year of the Lebanese Baccalaureate. Three paths are offered in the third year: general sciences, life sciences, and economics and sociology.

The American High School program serves as the basis for the College Preparatory Program (CPP). A CPP student receives the PHX diploma after successfully completing the courses, making them eligible to enroll in a university as freshmen.
